The Utah Department of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer to support a new environment build. Specifically, DTS is retiring an IBM Mainframe/COBOL system and converting it to a modern Oracle/Java environment. We have contracted with a vendor to support the code conversion, but need to complete the setup and testing on our side. We are looking for a developer with the following skills to assist in that process:
• Spring Batch
• Spring Boot
• Rest Applications
• Angular
• NodeJS
• Java Message Service
• Oracle
• Weblogic
• Control M
• JCL

The developer will assist with Java related support including, but not limited to:
• Configuration of JMS from SOA to our internal database
• Helping staff understand how to debug files and view the contents in the code (Eclipse)
• Help determine and document a process for code changes needed after “go-live”
• Assist our IT Architect with other projects relative to preparing for our new environment (Java and/or Oracle related)
