5 years with Java 1.7 / 1.8 programming language or higher 6
Experience developing in an Agile software development environment (Scrum)
Experience with Spring / Hibernate
This is NOT a type error. DWS is needing 15 Contractors. 40hours per week.

Local and non local candidates will be considered. Each contractor will need to work on site 40hours a week. NO Exceptions

“Willing to relocate” isn’t enough. Anyone is willing but if presented with a opportunity were they live, its assumed they would prefer that.
Why they are willing to relocate for a java developer role? Better yet, why would they want to relocate? .

These positions are budgeted annually. Selected resources can be extended up to 5 years without this needing to be rebid. (Looking for resources interested in long term projects)
Bid Scoring Criteria:
30% Java Programming Experience
30% Experience developing Enterprise Applications using JBoss, Oracle, DROOLS, MongoDb, Spring Hibernate
10% Experience with an eligibility and enrollment system, or other Gov systems
30% Cost
These positions are for Senior Level Java Developers focusing on Enterprise Systems Development. Preference may be given for experience with technologies such as: JBoss, Spring/Hibernate, RESTful API development, Oracle, and MongoDB. The development environment is Eclipse / Git / JIRA / SQL Workbench. Candidates will be asked to take a Java skills test. These are onsite positions located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Candidates must successfully pass the State of Utah, Department of Technology Services Background investigation including finger printing and drug testing. This project will go until June 30, 2021 unless completed earlier. Extensions depend on if funding is acquired and continued use of the current system.
