7+ years of experience in capture technology with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Required 7 Years
7+ years of experience with InputAccel distributed capture technology Required 7 Years
7+ years of experience with SharePoint technology Required 7 Years
7+ years of experience providing design and development in capture technology Required 7 Years
Experience in InputAccel 16.5 and above along with IA Designer Module Required 1 Years
Written and verbal communications are clear, concise and achieve intended objectives and with test case development Required 10 Years
Working knowledge of office applications (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint) Required 10 Years
Working knowledge or Hands-On Experience with OpenText Magellan Software Required 1 Years

Working with the Enterprise Services Manager, the Technical Specialist (Expert) is the lead InputAccel Capture Specialist for the DMV Enterprise Capture Solution to ensure we address the Customer’s immediate business needs. Included but not limiting this resource will be:
Working with and Assisting the Enterprise Services Manager on developing Execution Plans.
Assisting with coordination of the technical work efforts and ensuring deliverables are met.
Advising on all the Build efforts across multiple work streams.
The technical specialist position will also serve in a lead role in the design/build, implementation and will facilitate multiple work streams for DMV Capture initiatives. On the various work streams the Lead Specialist will focus on the business areas specifically, the DCIU unit & the DMV File Cabinet initiative in the DMV Commissioner’s Office as well as any other initiatives defined by the Enterprise Services Manager. The resource will be expected to :
Develop scanning solutions using InputAccel v16.5 using distributed capture technologies.
Provide technical expertise with respect to integration with other business applications.
Collaborate and coordinate the IT services needed with the various teams (Security, Network, Infrastructure, Operations, Client Services, Database and any other teams) to ensure successful delivery of the application solution support.
Will investigate problems and other requests for the application team to support the deployment team and determine appropriate actions to be taken to solve these problems.
Escalate 3rd party software and hardware issues to vendors; insuring proper attention is given to the issue depending on severity and impact to support.
Provide communication on updates and issues to the users, the management team, and application support team.
Communicate technical information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Prepare test, QC and production environments for all new release to include assisting with documenting the Application Architecture Document (AAD) and firewalls to be used to create the changes in OTRS (Open Technology Real Services – current NCDOT change management system).
Assist with quality assurance test efforts where appropriate and applicable.
Assist with the creation of site-specific help guides and training manuals.
Provide support to the InputAccel system team, in respect to the integration, installation and configuration of InputAccel software solution, all environments.
Assist the deployment team by creating integration, installation and configuration documents.
