The NC DHHS is looking for a results-driven Software Tester with working knowledge of software and test design, with the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze results.  The Software Tester must have excellent communication skills in order to interact with end users and gain understanding of the requirements of the software.  The Software Tester will be responsible for designing test scripts and test case scenarios, as well as use pre-developed test scripts.   The Software Tester will be responsible for all testing to include:  user acceptance, regression, quality assurance, data conversion, and end-to-end tests to ensure software usability.  The Software Tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations.  The Software Tester will attend requirements development meetings, design review meetings, and will provide input on software design and potential issues.  The Software Tester will review and provide input on Test Plans, and will interact with software end users to understand the functionality of the software. The Software Tester will create strategies for testing software specifics and will be responsible for ensuring that software meets all business, functional and system requirements, program standards and Test Plan requirements before identifying it as ready for implementation.
