Firmware Developer with GIT/Subversion, Jira/TFS, C/C++/C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, MongoDB and JNode experience

Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:
o Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of firmware, including application and driver level code.
o Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
o Develops understanding of and relationship with local and worldwide development partners on firmware design and development.
o Participates as a member of project team of firmware engineers to develop innovative, reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions enterprise class printing products.
Education and Experience Required:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
o Typically 4-6 years’ experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
o Experience or understanding of firmware design tools and languages.
o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.
o Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
o Understanding of firmware development tools and infrastructure, including source control (GIT, Subversion, etc.), Application lifecycle management (Jira, TFS, etc.) and code integration in an enterprise development environment.
o Expertise of firmware development languages such as C/C++ and C#
o Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
o Familiarity with database theory and web development, including SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, MongoDB, JNode etc.
