Description:

SCDOT desires a GIS Analyst positions level 3 to assist in various on going projects. Some of these projects include the Local Agency data Collection, creation of new city maps, revision of GIS layers using aerial photography, working on railroad project, correct features such as schools and hospitals and updating annexations. These positions will enable SCDOT to meet internal deadlines on these projects.

The GIS Analyst will need to be able to meet the following requirements:

•Have GIS training, school(Geography background preferred) and work history will be considered

•Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

•Ability and willingness to learn GeoMedia, SCDOT’s GIS software, to perform GIS work

•Ability to interpret and understand aerial photography
