Data Analyst with BA, SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, Tableau, BI and healthcare experience

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques Required 3 Years
Strong knowledge on SQL, Pl/Sql Desired 3 Years
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting, databases Required 3 Years
Strong experience with ETL techniques Highly desired 3 Years
Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts Highly desired 3 Years
Experience with Tableau, dashboard design and develop Desired 3 Years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability present to both technical and business audiences. Required 3 Years
Strong experience in Healthcare Data Desired 3 Years
Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions Desired 3 Years

Project Management

• Working with Project Management and/or DHHS MES Architects to identify and maintain all data integrations in an Integration Library knowledge repository
• Working with Project Management to track the status of all data-related project tasks and features relevant to a business unit, flag any risks to business and help design mitigation
• Work with Business Unit Project Manager (PM)
• Work with Integrations Status Project Manager, if necessary

Data Requirements

• Working with the Data Office to identify and document data sources and data elements that are important for business, including all intake, storage, processing and transmission of the data, both internal & external
• Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts such as csv, txt, XML etc.
• Hands-on experience in extracting, manipulating and categorizing complex healthcare data and producing accurate output
• Documenting data flows relevant to a business unit
• Data quality assurance
o Establish data-quality metrics and requirements
o Define the values, ranges and parameters that are acceptable for each data element
o Establish procedures for detection and correction of data- quality issues
o Collaborate to establish policies, procedures and internal controls affecting the quality of data
o Engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality including identification of anomalies and discrepancies, identifying root cause(s), and implementing corrective measures

Documentation and Analytics Capabilities

• Documenting all reporting requirements for a business unit
• Establish procedures for detection and correction of data- quality issues
• Collaborate to establish policies, procedures and internal controls affecting the quality of data
• Engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality including identification of anomalies and discrepancies, identifying root cause(s), and implementing corrective measures
