Certified as a Developer on IBM Cúram Social Program Management (SPM) 7.0 Required
Demonstrated skills with Cúram container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS, etc.), and security configuration. Required 5 Years
Demonstrated skills with network application/web application security concepts including authentication/authorization protocols. Required 5 Years
Experience in defining and creating detailed architecture, diagrams, and designs of the Cúram Framework and Object-Oriented Design Patterns. Required 5 Years
Experience s an architect on a large Cúram implementation using version 7.0 Required 5 Years
Experience in configuring and tuning Cúram versions 7.0 components, modules, environments, and databases. Required 5 Years
Knowledge and experience of the SPM build processes and WebSphere configurations. Required 5 Years
Experience in contemporary application hosting methodologies including three-tier architecture, reverse proxies, name and IP-based virtual hosts. Required 5 Years
Experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment. Required 5 Years

NC FAST requires four Curam Architects on Social Platform Management to support NC FAST Operations and Maintenance activities.
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as the Cúram Architect on Social Platform Management (SPM) for the North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) Program to support the development and implementation of Cúram SPM. This position will be responsible for developing, performing, and overseeing Cúram implementation and assisting with migration of NC FAST to a cloud platform as part of the architecture team. This responsibility encompasses direct collaboration with state staff, contractors, external partners, and senior management. Extensive knowledge of Cúram SPM technical architecture is required to mentor staff and verify design follow best practices and design principles. This role will also provide technical consultation to business partners, developers, and architects, and seek management approval and acceptance of any significant reconfigurations of the system or the environments as NC FAST transitions to a cloud platform.

Duties include but are not limited to: Creating documentation to support architectural activities, leading and mentoring staff in Cúram development best practices, providing direction and quality reviews of project deliverables, and advising and/or developing Cúram artifacts including: Cúram Rational Rose Meta-model, design documents, Java Server code, UIM screen definitions, Message/Code table/Data Manager files, Cúram Server, Workstation database and Coding documentation. Tasks also include providing input into development runtime hardware and software configurations, providing status reports on all architectural related activities and documents, and acting as technical architectural liaison for NC FAST with other agencies and external partners.
This role will review architectural documentation, business designs, and technical designs for accuracy and completeness, ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, guide staff to work and resolve functional issues, and ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards. Also responsible to create proof of concepts to validate technical documentation and provide quality assurance and review of software test requirements, software test plans, software test reports and proof related technical documentation.
