Expert skills in using COBOL in batch and CICS and accessing IMS databases using native calls and EXEC DL/I calls Required 7 Years
Must be experienced with two phase commit methodolgy using WebSphere Application Server and CICS transaction gateway Required 7 Years
Ability to make CICS screen changes using the IBM Data Management System (DMS). Required 7 Years
Strong JCL skills are needed as much of the work will involve Z/OS jobs. Required 7 Years
Skilled with VSAM, DYL280, BMS, Z/OS Utilities, SYNCSORT, TSO/ISPF, MQSERIES, BROADCOM Job Scheduler (ESP) are a plus. Highly desired
Competent skills in using IBM DB2 and MQ Series within COBOL programs Required 7 Years

This candidate is required to have expert skills in using COBOL in batch and CICS and accessing IMS databases using native calls and EXEC DL/I calls. They must be experienced with two phase commit methodology using WebSphere Application Server and CICS transaction gateway. Needed are the ability to make CICS screen changes using the IBM Data Management System (DMS). Competent skills in using IBM DB2 and MQ Series within COBOL programs are a must. Provides services including, but not limited to:
• Development and enhancement of applications based on established design specifications
• Analysis, design, coding, component/assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
• Implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements
• Writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support)
Unit testing applications and developing system and user documentation
