The APEX system is a rewrite of the legacy High-Cost Funds application in support of TEA’s Special Populations Division and Texas LEA’s (aka school districts). The HCF/APEX applications provide LEA’s with a mechanism to request reimbursements for specialized Special Populations services.
This position will work with the APEX development team to provide the following Software Testing Services:
1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
2) Execute functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
3) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
4) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the application requirements and functionality to help determine test cases and clearly communicate issues found.
