1. Degree Candidate must possess an associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
2. Administrative Experience Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing an admin assistant / content management role
3. Technology Candidate must demonstrate being adept in applicable technology (I.e., Microsoft Office Outlook, Project, Excel; SharePoint, Web-Content Management, Visio, Videoconference Preparation
4. Verbal and Written Communication Candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate in written and verbal form that is clear, direct and succinct
5. Organizational Skills Candidate must demonstrate the ability to organize tasks and assigned projects that meet or exceed expectations
6. Time Management Candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage time and prioritize work that result in a positive outcome

The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) is working on a comprehensive modernization initiative to replace our legacy systems, referred to as the Utah Schools Information Management System (USIMS). We are looking for an administrative professional to support the Senior Program Manager and staff
The successful candidate will be successful by helping to prepare website materials and sustain website content to include updating program status, video recordings, briefings, and personnel information; and managing the question and answer capability. You will support meeting and event planning such as making room arrangements, helping manage attendees and associated information, drafting and sending emails to 35 plus participants.

Responsibilities:
• Manage website content with current information and work closely with the website development group in assuring site is properly sustained
• Support event and meeting planning by keeping the list of attendees current, making room arrangements, assuring event materials are created and available prior to the event, supporting creation of agenda and ensuring proper capture of event information
• Maintain excellent working relationship with program staff, management, and stakeholders, particularly members of the program Functional Advisory Board
• Review and edit written material to ensure high quality publications and reports
• Anticipate the needs of others to ensure seamless and positive experience and achieve better results from negotiations and interactions
